Episode 4: Grinnan Family
Hannah Grinnan, the youngest of the seven Grinnan siblings, underwent heart
transplant surgery when she was just 11 days old. After the surgery,
her body rejected the new organ as she faught valiantly for her life.
In order to be near a facility that could handle her emergency conditions,
the entire Grinnan family moved and her siblings took on increased roles
of running the household as her parents tended to her needs. Hannah is
now a relatively healthy six-year old and her parents have become tireless
crusaders for heart disease treatment and research. For all of their
efforts, Extreme
Makeover wanted to reward them.
The WRCLA provided fencing for the Grinnan's new home:
- 6' tall privacy fence with 2 access gates
- Custom deck railing
